About the Artist
Harry Jaecks studied drawing and printmaking at the
Maryland Institute of Art.Harry has illustrated calenders and books, including
SaltTides by Curtis Badger,featuring over thirty pencil illustrations
of the Atlantic barrier islands and their native wildlife.Harry and his wife
Jean Brinton Jaecks have twice been commissioned to paint Christmas cards for
the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
In addition his work has appeared in Chesapeake Bay
Foundation calenders and Christmas cards,Outdoor Life Magazine, Maryland magazine,
Country magazine and Bay Country Living.His paintings are represented in many
corporate and private collections.
Size is approx. 22" X 27" including 3 inch border.
